  • What is VFTradings?

VFTradings offers traders the opportunity to trade with our capital. We evaluate aspiring traders through a structured two-step evaluation process—Practice and Qualifying—to identify and develop trading talent. Successful traders gain access to live trading accounts and retain 80% of the profits they generate.

  • How do I participate in the VF Racer Challenge?

To participate in the Challenge, you first register and pay the necessary registration fees. The Challenge has two phases, two of which have a profit target. During the first stage, Practice, you'll manage a simulated trading account with up to $200,000 in virtual funds. Once you demonstrate profitability, you’ll move on to the Qualifying stage, which has a lower profit criteria but tests more on consistency.

  • How many account currency options are available for the Challenge?

The Challenge is available in USD, EUR, GBP, and CAD. Note that your choice of currency will determine the currency for your fee payments.

  • Who can participate in the VF Racer Challenge?

The VF Racer Challenge is open to traders from around the world who have a passion for trading and meet our basic eligibility criteria. By completing the full Challenge track, traders will be able to make 80% of the profits they make without any capital outlay on their end.

  • What are the requirements to participate in the VF Racer Challenge?

To participate, you must be at least 18 years old and have a basic understanding of trading principles. You will need to register, and make payment for the Challenge. Once this is complete, you will be assigned a Challenge account and be placed on the Practice stage.

  • What is a Challenge account?

A Challenge account is a simulated trading account provided by VFTradings during the first stage of our assessment process. Further divided into the Cruise and Turbo types, the Challenge account will receive up to $200,000 in virtual funds. The basis in which these simulated funds are handled during the Practice and Qualifying phase will determine the trader's performance during the Challenge.

  • What is the daily loss limit?

The daily loss limit for both the Practice and Qualifying stages is set at 5% for Cruise accounts and 10% for Turbo accounts. Making a loss past this balance will result in failure of the Challenge.

Do note that the calculation considers these when assessing loss:
    - Closed and open positions
    - Spreads and commissions
    - Swaps

  • What are the required profit targets that need to be reached?

Different stages of the Challenge will require different profit targets.

    Practice stage - Cruise: 10%, Turbo: 20%
    Qualifying stage - Cruise: 5%, Turbo: 10%

Accounts at the VF Racer stage do not have any profit targets. Traders with these accounts can trade on them as long as no loss limits are met.

  • Is there a time limit for the assessment?

No, there is no time limit for both the Practice and Qualifying stages. Participants need only trade for a minimum of 4 trading days for each stage.

  • What is the maximum number of Challenges I can join?

You can participate in multiple assessments simultaneously, but there is a limit on the total account value you can hold across all assessments. The maximum collective account value is 3,000,000 units of currency. This means you can manage up to 300 active accounts with $10,000 each or 15 accounts with $200,000 each. Failed sessions are not included in this maximum, allowing you to focus on your active trading opportunities without worrying about past performance.

  • What happens if I fail the Challenge?

If you fail the Challenge by breaching the daily loss limit or not reaching the profit target within the specified time frame, you will not progress to the next stage. However, you are encouraged to re-apply and start the process again by paying the registration fee.

  • Are there any restrictions on the trading style during the Challenge?

VFTradings does not impose restrictions on trading styles during the Challenge. You are free to use any strategy that aligns with your trading approach, whether it's day trading, swing trading, or scalping. The key is to maintain discipline and adhere to the risk management rules.

  • How are my profits calculated during the live trading stage?

Once you attain VF Racer status and gain access to a live trading account, your profits are calculated based on the net profit generated from your trades, after deducting any applicable spreads, commissions, and swaps. You will retain 80% of the net profit, and VFTradings will retain the remaining 20%.

  • Can I withdraw my profits at any time?

Yes, you can request a withdrawal of your profits once every two weeks any time once you have gained VF Racer status. Withdrawals are processed within 2-5 business days, depending on the payment method used.

  • What happens if I breach the rules in the live trading stage?

If you breach any of the rules during the live trading stage, such as exceeding the daily loss limit or doing news trading, your live trading account may be suspended or terminated. For a full list of rules, click here.
